Yes, on every customised order. We send you a digital proof and nothing is engraved until you approve it. Please check spelling, phone numbers and spacing carefully at that stage, because the stamp is made exactly as approved.

Ready-made designs skip this step. Nothing is customised on them, so they go straight into production and reach you faster.

Most stamps are made and dispatched within 2–5 working days. For a customised stamp, that window starts after you approve your proof, not from when you order.

For paper, kraft, cards and cardboard, use a rubber stamp or a matte pre-inked stamp. For plastic, poly mailers, laminated or glossy boxes, use a permanent pre-inked stamp. For soap, clay and fondant, use an acrylic stamp. For wax, chocolate and leather, use a brass seal or debossing stamp.

Not for pre-inked stamps. The ink sits inside the body, so they arrive ready to use and give thousands of impressions before needing a re-ink.

Rubber stamps do need a separate ink pad. That is not a drawback, it lets you change ink colours and use different inks for different surfaces.

If your stamp arrives faulty, damaged, or does not match the proof you approved, message us with a photo and we will replace it.

Very thin lines and very small text can fill in with ink after repeated stamping. When we review your artwork we will tell you if anything is likely to be a problem, and we may suggest a slightly larger size or a small adjustment to the design so it presses cleanly.
