Handmade soap, polymer and air-dry clay, fondant, and iced or soft-baked cookies. It presses the design in rather than printing it, so it works on anything soft enough to take an impression and firm enough to hold one. It will not work on paper or packaging — for those you need a rubber or pre-inked stamp.

Timing is the whole game. Stamp when the bar is firm enough to hold an edge but still soft enough to take the press — not straight out of the mould, and not after it has fully cured and hardened. Yes, on fondant, icing and cookies, because it presses the design in rather than printing anything onto it. Nothing is transferred to the food. Our stamp inks are a separate thing entirely — they are made for packaging and should never touch food.

Yes. We send you a digital proof and nothing is engraved until you approve it. Please check the spelling and spacing carefully at that stage, because the stamp is cut exactly as approved.

Fine lines behave differently in soap than they do on paper, because the soap presses back around them. Very thin strokes and very small text can close up. When we review your artwork we will tell you if anything is likely to be a problem, and we may suggest a slightly larger size or a small adjustment so the impression stays clean.

The highest resolution file you have, in black on a white background. If all you have is a photo of your logo, send it anyway and we will tell you whether it will engrave cleanly.

Acrylic stamps take about a week to make, counted from the day you approve your proof rather than the day you order. Shipping is a flat Rs.69 anywhere in India, and free on orders above Rs.1,499. We deliver across India only.
