A custom acrylic stamp, engraved with your own logo or artwork, that presses your mark into handmade soap and clay. In Hindi this is what people call a sabun mohar. The design is cut in reverse and pressed in, not printed on, so nothing is added to the surface — no ink, no coating, nothing that can wash off.

Questions before you order
What surfaces does an acrylic soap stamp work on?
Handmade soap (cold process and melt and pour) and polymer or air-dry clay. It presses the design in rather than printing it, so it works on anything soft enough to take an impression and firm enough to hold one. It will not work on paper or packaging — for those you need a rubber or pre-inked stamp.
When should I stamp my soap so the design does not smudge?
Timing is the whole game. Cold process: stamp within a few days of cutting, when the bar is firm enough to hold an edge but still soft enough to take the press. What size should I choose?
Your stamp should be about 1cm smaller than the face of your bar. For most 100g bars that means 4cm or 5cm. See our soap stamp size guide.
Will I see my design before you make it?
Yes. We send you a digital proof and nothing is engraved until you approve it. Please check the spelling and spacing carefully at that stage, because the stamp is cut exactly as approved.
My logo has very fine lines. Will they show up in soap?
Fine lines behave differently in soap than they do on paper, because the soap presses back around them. Very thin strokes and very small text can close up. When we review your artwork we will tell you if anything is likely to be a problem, and we may suggest a slightly larger size or a small adjustment so the impression stays clean.
What artwork should I send?
The highest resolution file you have, in black on a white background. If all you have is a photo of your logo, send it anyway and we will tell you whether it will engrave cleanly.
How long does it take and what does shipping cost?
Acrylic stamps take about a week to make, counted from the day you approve your proof rather than the day you order. Shipping is a flat Rs.69 anywhere in India, and free on orders above Rs.1,499. We deliver across India only.
Stamp Care
- Stamping on soap or clay? Lay a piece of clear plastic wrap over the surface before pressing — it keeps the stamp clean and gives a crisper release.
- Soap too hard or cold to take a clean impression? Warm it with a hair dryer for about 10 seconds, then stamp.
- New to a batch? Test on a couple of samples first to find the right hardness and pressure before committing to the whole batch.
- Very hard soap: a gentle tap with a mallet on the stamp back can help set the impression.
- If soap or clay residue builds up on the stamp, clean it off with a soft brush and gentle soap — nothing abrasive.
- Keep it out of direct sunlight when storing.
